Job summary

The Dental Center of Eagan is seeking a friendly dental hygienist for a part-time role in our small family-owned practice in Eagan, MN. The position is currently every Monday from 8am to 4:30pm, with potential to add Tuesdays and Fridays; hours are flexible for the right candidate.

You will perform screenings, take radiographs, educate patients on oral hygiene, and help maintain charts and sterilization standards in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Take radiographs as prescribed by doctor.
• Take intra oral photos or assist doctor in taking photos.
• Educate patients of all ages on proper oral hygiene.
• Ensure patients feel comfortable throughout their appointment.
• Sterilize dental instruments properly.
• Maintain documentation and charts on each patient.
• Help monitor supplies for ordering.
• Identify gingivitis/periodontitis and stay up to date on current periodontal classification.

We are seeking a dental hygienist for a part-time position at our small family-owned practice in Eagan, Minnesota.

We have a fantastic patient base and are looking for a friendly, professional hygienist to join our team! Current open position will be every Monday from 8am to 4:30pm. We are also looking to add Tuesdays and Fridays in the near future. Hours and days can be flexible for the right person.

Ensure patients feel comfortable throughout their appointment
Conduct initial mouth screenings, check oral health history, and update medical history
Identify conditions like gingivitis/periodontitis including being up to date on current periodontal classification
Use cavitron and/or hand scale and polishing techniques
Educate patients of all ages on proper oral hygiene
Take radiographs as prescribed by doctor
Take intra oral photos or assist doctor in taking photos

Take wellness scan on all new patients with iTero Lumina
Maintain documentation and charts on each patient
Sterilize dental instruments properly
Help monitor supplies for ordering
