Job summary

Partridge Dental Prof Corp in Des Plaines, IL is seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our small, family-oriented practice. You will perform prophylaxis, scaling/root planing, apply fluoride and sealants as needed, and communicate findings with the patient and dentist.

We value efficiency and patient comfort; hours include evenings. Starting compensation is $45.00 per hour with benefits and paid time off, health and retirement options, and free dental care for you and your family.

Qualifications

• Illinois license as dental hygienist; CPR certification preferred.
• Proficient in dental hygiene procedures and patient history documentation.
• Experience with Eaglesoft, digital radiography and EMR systems.

Responsibilities

• Prophylaxis and scaling/root planing within one-hour appointments.
• Apply fluoride and sealants when indicated.
• Screen for oral disease and perform periodontal charting.
• Communicate findings with patient and dentist.
• Collaborate to ensure efficient office operations and care.

About us:

We are a unique family-oriented solo practice operating in Des Plaines for more than 35 years. Here since 2014, Dr. Andrew Partridge followed in his father's footsteps after he retired in 2018 and has had the pleasure of providing excellent dental care to the many patients who have chosen our practice over the years.

Qualifications/Experience:

• Current Dental Hygienist license in Illinois (new graduates welcome)
• CPR Certification
• Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, patient screening, and medical history documentation
• Proficient in Eaglesoft, digital x-rays, electronic medical records systems
• Comfort working in a busy environment

Key Responsibilities

Scheduled Office Hours (start times flexible, must work evening hours)

• Monday 7:30 AM - 7:00 PM
• Tuesday 7:30 AM - 8:00 PM
• Thursday 7:30 AM - 7:00 PM
• Friday 7:30 AM - 2:00 PM

Compensation/Benefits

Starting at $45.00/hour with additional benefits
