Job summary

Steamboat Parkway Dental Care in Reno, NV is seeking a dedicated Dental Hygienist to join our 2-doctor practice. You will provide comprehensive hygiene services and patient care in a supportive environment.

We offer a $5,000 welcome bonus, full-time schedule (Tue–Fri), bi-weekly pay with Daily Pay option, and a competitive benefits package including health, retirement plans, 401(k), paid holidays and PTO. Our team uses Dentrix and supports ongoing education and mentorship within Heartland Dental.

Qualifications

• Nevada dental hygiene license active.
• Degree in dental hygiene (associate or bachelor).
• CPR certification required.

Steamboat Parkway Dental Care is looking for a Dental Hygienist to join our team.

Location: 1121 Steamboat Pkwy Ste 3, Reno,Nevada89521

Work Schedule: Tuesday - Friday: Tuesday - 7 am to 5 pm, Wednesday - 8 to 5 pm, Thursday - 7 am to 5 pm, Friday - 7 am to 4 pm

2-doctor practice, utilizing Dentrix!

60min recare, 90min new patient appointment!

Bi-weekly pay + the ability to opt into Daily Pay to receive paychecks as earned.

Ability to earn daily + quarterly bonuses!

We have Arestin, iTero, Velscope/Vizilite + CE coverage available!

Minimum Qualifications

• Current dental hygienist license in Nevada and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required)
• Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
• CPR Certification

Preferred Experience

• Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems
• Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients’ dental health
• Clinical needs as required by office

Physical Requirements

• Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/ Doctor/ Heartland Dental with or without reasonable accommodation. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties of the position
• Prolonged periods sitting and standing
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
• Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person)periodically throughout the year

This is a standard requirement for dental office roles and must be completed prior to starting employment. The test will be arranged during the pre-employment process, and any necessary guidance or paperwork will be provided. Not applicable in the state of FL & TN.
