Job summary

Western Dental & Orthodontics is hiring a Dental Hygienist for flexible FT or PT schedules in Crystal Lake, IL. You will be the primary hygienist, building strong patient relationships with a focus on quality care and using the latest technology, including iTero scanning and laser therapy.

We offer a starting rate of $65/hour, a $2k sign-on bonus, and a paid laser certification. Join a supportive team with opportunities to grow and maximize earnings while collaborating with dentists and support

Qualifications

• Degree or certificate in hygiene from an accredited program is required.
• CPR/BLS Certification is required.
• Ability to manage time efficiently and communicate professionally with patients and staff.
• Ability to travel between locations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide oral hygiene services including prophylaxis, scaling, root planing, polish restorations, and preventive agents.
• Accurately chart patient dental history and update periodontal health and treatment records.
• Provide assistance as directed by the dentist and administer local anesthetics where allowed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide oral hygiene services including thorough and gentle prophylaxis, scaling, root planing, polish restorations, and application of cavity preventative agents such as fluorides and sealant applications
• Accurately chart a review of patient dental history and update as necessary, patient's periodontal health, record provided treatment, and handle patient records securely and in compliance with HIPAA regulations
• Provide assistance as directed by the dentist
• Administer local anesthetics, if allowed by dental practice act
