Job summary

Converse Dentistry in Converse, TX is seeking a Dental Hygienist to join our friendly, patient‑centered team. This full‑time position runs Monday through Thursday from 8:00 to 5:00, with a supportive practice culture and a robust mentor program to enhance clinical skills.

You will provide elite preventive care, educate patients, and participate in a well‑established network with over 20 years of Heartland Dental support behind the practice.

Qualifications

• TX dental hygienist license (active) and degree in dental hygiene
• CPR certification is required
• Experience with dental hygiene procedures and medical history documentation preferred that support patient care

Minimum Qualifications

• Current dental hygienist license in TXand an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required)
• Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
• CPR Certification

Preferred Experience

• 1+ years of clinical experience
• Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems
• Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients’ dental health
• Clinical needs as required by office

Physical Requirements

• Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/ Doctor/ Heartland Dental with or without reasonable accommodation. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties of the position
• Prolonged periods sitting and standing
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
• Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person)periodically throughout the year

This is a standard requirement for dental office roles and must be completed prior to starting employment. The test will be arranged during the pre-employment process, and any necessary guidance or paperwork will be provided. Not applicable in the state of FL & TN.
