Heartland Dental’s Converse Dentistry in Converse, TX is seeking a Dental Hygienist to join a close-knit, supportive team. You will provide preventive care and hygiene services, including SRP, in a high-quality patient care environment.

The practice offers mentoring, ongoing education, and a path for professional growth within a national network of Heartland Dental supported offices. The role is full-time with a Monday–Thursday schedule, and a strong team-focused culture.

Qualifications

• Current dental hygienist license in TX and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required)
• CPR Certification

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive dental hygiene care to patients.
• Perform SRP and preventive treatments with autonomy.
• Manage 60-minute recare and 90-minute new patient appointments.

Minimum Qualifications

• Current dental hygienist license in TX and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required)
• Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
• CPR Certification

Preferred Experience

• 1+ years of clinical experience
• Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems
• Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients’ dental health
• Clinical needs as required by office

Physical Requirements

• Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/ Doctor/ Heartland Dental with or without reasonable accommodation. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties of the position
• Prolonged periods sitting and standing
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
• Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person)periodically throughout the year

This is a standard requirement for dental office roles and must be completed prior to starting employment.
