Oak Hills Family Dental in Kansas City, MO is seeking a Dental Hygienist for a temporary maternity-leave assignment from November 2026 to April 2027. Schedule includes Mon-Thu with occasional Friday hours at 10201 N Oak Trafficway, Ste 300, Kansas City, MO 64155.

You’ll join a collaborative team at a Heartland Dental-supported office, delivering high-quality patient care with robust mentorship. The role requires MO licensure, a dental hygiene degree, and CPR certification.

Tuesday 9:00am-5:00pm

Wednesday 8:00am-5:00pm

Thursday 7:30am-3:30pm

& every other Friday 8:00am-12:00pm

Minimum Qualifications

• Current dental hygienist license in Missouri and an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene (where required)

• Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation

• CPR Certification

Preferred Experience

• Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems

• Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health

• Clinical needs as required by office

Physical Requirements

• Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/ Doctor/ Heartland Dental

• Prolonged periods sitting and standing

• Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times

• Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person)periodically throughout the year

• As part of our commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy environment for both team members and patients, a tuberculosis (TB) test is required for all new hires in dental office positions. This is a standard requirement for dental office roles and must be completed prior to starting employment. The test will be arranged during the pre-employment process, and any necessary guidance or paperwork will be provided. Not applicable in the state of FL & TN.
