Job Summary

Midwest Refuah Health Center, a nonprofit community health center and FQHC Look‑Alike, is seeking a detail‑oriented Dental Hygienist to join our growing dental team. This role offers the opportunity to provide high‑quality, community‑based care in a mission‑driven setting. The ideal candidate is passionate about oral health, skilled in preventative care, and committed to creating a positive patient experience through clinical excellence and personalized attention.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing
  • Conduct thorough oral health assessments and document findings
  • Take and process high‑quality diagnostic X‑rays
  • Apply fluoride treatments and dental sealants as indicated
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care
  • Assist the dentist during exams and procedures
  • Support the clinical team with patient flow and care coordination
  • Maintain accurate, up‑to‑date patient records and treatment notes
  • Ensure proper sterilization and maintenance of dental equipment
  • Follow all infection control, OSHA, HIPAA, and state regulatory protocols
  • All other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Associate's or bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program
  • CPR/BLS certification
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team‑based care environment
