Fountain Hills Family Dentistry in Fountain Hills, AZ, seeks an experienced Dental Hygienist for a part-time Friday–Saturday schedule. You’ll join a welcoming 9-person team, work with Dentrix and iTero, and benefit from hygiene bonuses and ongoing mentorship to advance your clinical skills.

Requirements include a current AZ dental hygiene license, an associate’s or bachelor’s degree, and CPR certification. Two to three years of clinical dental hygiene experience is preferred; familiarity with

Fountain Hills Family Dentistry, like each Heartland Dental supported office, is unique to the community and the patients they serve. Minimum Qualifications

• Current dental hygienist license in Arizona and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required)
• Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
• CPR Certification

Preferred Experience

• 2-3+ years of clinical experience
• Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems
• Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients’ dental health
• Clinical needs as required by office

Physical Requirements

• Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/ Doctor/ Heartland Dental with or without reasonable accommodation. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties of the position
• Prolonged periods sitting and standing
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
• Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person)periodically throughout the year
• As part of our commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy environment for both team members and patients, a tuberculosis (TB) test is required for all new hires in dental office positions. This is a standard requirement for dental office roles and must be completed prior to starting employment. The test will be arranged during the pre-employment process, and any necessary guidance or paperwork will be provided. Not applicable in the state of FL & TN.
