Heartland Dental in Cary, NC is seeking a Full-Time Dental Hygienist to join our team. You’ll provide preventive care and patient education while upholding the highest clinical standards in a supportive environment.

This role offers a robust hygiene mentorship program, ongoing education, and access to best-in-class supplies and labs. You’ll work Mon–Thu 6:35 AM–3:45 PM with a 30-minute lunch, in a stable company with 20+ years of experience.

Qualifications

• Current dental hygienist license in NC and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene.
• Excellent working knowledge of dentistry and hygiene procedures.
• CPR certification.

Schedule: Monday–Thursday: 6:35 AM–3:45 PM, with a 30-minute lunch.

Minimum Qualifications

• Current dental hygienist license in NC and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required)
• Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
• CPR Certification

Preferred Experience

• 1 year of clinical experience
• Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems
• Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients’ dental health
• Clinical needs as required by office

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
• Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person)periodically throughout the year

This is a standard requirement for dental office roles and must be completed prior to starting employment.
