Job summary

Woodland Heights Family Dental is seeking a Dental Hygienist to join our team in Cabot, AR. The role offers a Monday–Thursday 8-5 schedule with a $7,500 welcome bonus and robust clinical mentorship to enhance your skills.

You will be an integral member of the patient care team, providing preventative care, patient education, and comprehensive hygiene services with best-in-class support and access to extensive training resources.

Qualifications

• Active Arkansas dental hygienist license
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene
• CPR certification required
• Experience with dental hygiene procedures and patient screening
• Proficient in EMR systems

Responsibilities

• Provide dental hygiene treatments and preventative care to patients
• Assist in patient education and screenings
• Document medical histories and treatment notes accurately
• Maintain sterilization and infection control protocols
• Collaborate with doctors and staff to deliver high-quality care

Minimum Qualifications

• Current dental hygienist license in Arkansas an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required)
• Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
• CPR Certification

Preferred Experience

• At least 2 years of clinical experience
• Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems
• Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients’ dental health
• Clinical needs as required by office

Physical Requirements

• Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/ Doctor/ Heartland Dental with or without reasonable accommodation. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties of the position
• Prolonged periods sitting and standing
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
• Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person)periodically throughout the year

This is a standard requirement for dental office roles and must be completed prior to starting employment.
