Naperville Dental Specialists in Naperville, IL, is seeking a friendly Dental Hygienist to join our multi-specialty practice.

You will perform prophylaxis, SRPs, recalls, and patient education while collaborating with our prosthodontist, endodontist, and general dentists to deliver comprehensive care. Illinois license, local anesthesia and nitrous certification required; CPR certification preferred; 60‑90 minute appointments.

Qualificações

• Active IL dental hygienist license; Associate’s or Bachelor’s in dental hygiene
• Local Anesthesia and Nitrous certification required
• CPR Certification
• Excellent knowledge of dentistry, hygiene procedures, patient screening and medical history

Napervillle Dental Specialists is looking for a friendly, colllaborative Dental Hygiene to join our team!

Schedule

• Monday 7:30am-5:00pm
• Tuesday 8:30am-6:00pm
• Wednesday 8:30am-4:00pm
• Thursday 8:30am-4:00pm
• Friday 7:00am-2:00pm

Patient Schedule

• Single column, average of 7 patients/day
• 60 minute prophys and recalls
• 90 minute SRPs
• 90 minute New Patient appointments

Minimum Qualifications

• Current dental hygienist license in Illinois and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required)
• Local Anesthesia and Nitrous certification
• Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
• CPR Certification

Preferred Experience

• New graduates and experienced hygienists welcome!
• Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems
• Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients’ dental health
• Clinical needs as required by office

Physical Requirements

• Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/ Doctor/ Heartland Dental with or without reasonable accommodation. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties of the position
• Prolonged periods sitting and standing
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
• Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person)periodically throughout the year

This is a standard requirement for dental office roles and must be completed prior to starting employment.
