Job summary

MCR Health is seeking a qualified Dental Hygienist to work alongside Dentists in the treatment area, performing prophylaxis, scaling and root planing as needed, and instructing patients in tooth and mouth care.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Florida Registered Dental Hygienist license.
• Degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program.
• Continuing education credits to maintain licensure.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is highly helpful.
• Graduate of an accredited Dental Hygiene training program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform dental prophylaxis and prophylactic treatments.
• Scale and root planing as needed.
• Instruct patients in tooth and mouth care.

Job description

Dental Hygienists work directly with the Dentists in the treatment area. Responsibilities include performing dental prophylactic treatments and instructing groups and individuals in tooth and mouth care; scaling and root planning; assessing and charting oral condition for diagnosis and treatment by the dentist.

Requirements

• Registered Dental Hygienist Degree
• Current Florida license as Registered Dental Hygienist
• Current with continuing education credits to maintain license
