Cabana family Dental in Boonton, New Jersey, powered by Smile Brands, seeks a licensed dental hygienist to deliver preventive care and education in a patient‑centered setting. The role offers autonomy within a supportive team, with company‑paid CE to help you grow your clinical skills.

You will educate patients on oral health, build trusting relationships, and stay current with evolving technologies while collaborating closely with dentists and teammates to personalize care.

Qualifications

• Licensed Dental Hygienist or eligible to become licensed in the state of practice.
• New graduates are welcome!
• Current CPR certification.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for patient care, education and prevention.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality preventive dental hygiene care using evidence-based protocols.
• Perform appropriate assessments, diagnostics and preventive treatments within your scope of practice.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene, prevention and the connection between oral and overall health.
• Build trusting relationships with patients and create a welcoming, judgment-free experience.
• Collaborate with dentists and hygiene teammates to identify patient needs and personalize treatment.
• Stay current with dental technologies, instruments and best practices that enhance patient care.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow applicable safety and compliance standards.

Schedule (days/hours)

Mon 8:30am-5:30pm, Tues 9am-7pm, Wed 8:30am-4pm & Thus 7:30am-2:30pm

Compensation

$55-$60 per hour & hygiene bonus plan-$Up to $4,000 Sign on bonus!
