Job description

Mountain State Dental Care is looking for a Dental Hygienist to join our team.

Location: 1578 S Timesquare Ln, Boise, Idaho 83709

Work Schedule: Monday‑Wednesday 7:30am–5:00pm, Thursday 7:30am–12:00pm

1 doctor practice, utilizing Dentrix.

60‑minute recall, 90‑minute new patient appointments.

Bi‑weekly pay, with the option to receive daily pay.

Daily and quarterly bonuses are available.

We offer Arestin and iTero+ CE coverage.

Full‑time is a minimum of 30 hours to receive the full benefits package, which includes UnitedHealthcare PPO health care, paid holidays, 401(k), dental, vision, wellness benefits, and more.

Minimum Qualifications

• Current dental hygienist license in Idaho and an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required).
• Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, patient screening, and medical history documentation.
• CPR certification.

Preferred Experience

• Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital X‑rays, and electronic medical record systems.
• Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet patients' needs and provide preventative care.
• Clinical experience as required by the office.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to perform essential duties as required by the office, doctor, or Heartland Dental, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Prolonged periods sitting and standing.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times.
• Availability to attend virtual or in‑person training periodically.
• TB test required for all new hires in dental office positions.
