Job summary

The Foehr Group in Bloomington, IL is seeking a part-time Dental Hygienist to join our clinical team and provide high-quality patient care in a collaborative setting.

You will perform routine cleanings, educate patients on oral health, assist dentists, and maintain accurate records while adhering to sterilization protocols and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate or Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene.
• Active state license as a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH).
• Local anesthesia certification and CPR/First Aid (if applicable).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with commitment to patient care and comfort.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine dental cleanings and oral health assessments.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and preventative care.
• Assist dentists with exams and treatments, and take dental X-rays.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure regulatory compliance; adhere to sterilization protocols.
