DeKalb Dental Group in Dekalb, IL is seeking a friendly Dental Hygienist to join our team. We offer a 17-person team, 13 operatories in a state-of-the-art facility with two doctors and five hygienists during the week.

You will maintain preventive care, perform SRP and recare, and work closely with the doctors to deliver exceptional patient care; competitive benefits, mentorship, and growth opportunities are provided.

Qualificações

• Current Illinois dental hygiene license.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene.
• CPR certification and knowledge of patient records.

Responsabilidades

• Provide dental hygiene care to patients including exams, cleaning and preventative services.
• Perform SRP and recare appointments with thorough documentation.
• Maintain patient records and collaborate with doctors and staff.

Dekalb Dental Group is looking for a fun, friendly Dental Hygienist to join the team!

Schedule

• Monday 7:30am-5:00pm
• Tuesday 7:30am-5:00pm
• Wednesday 7:30am-6:00pm
• Thursday 7:30am-4:00pm

Consistent Patient Schedule:

• Average approx. 7 patients a day
• 60min recare, 90min new patient appointment!
• SRP appointments are 60-90 minutes, flexible on hygienist need!

Minimum Qualifications

• Current dental hygienist license in Illinois and an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene (where required)
• Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
• CPR Certification

Preferred Experience

• New graduates and experienced hygienists welcome!
• Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems
• Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health
• Clinical needs as required by office

Physical Requirements

• Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/ Doctor/ Heartland Dental with or without reasonable accommodation. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties of the position
• Prolonged periods sitting and standing
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
• Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person)periodically throughout the year

This is a standard requirement for dental office roles and must be completed prior to starting employment. The test will be arranged during the pre-employment process, and any necessary guidance or paperwork will be provided. Not applicable in the state of FL & TN.
