Dental Hygienist — Dental Arts of Aurora is looking for a Dental Hygienist to join our team. A $10,000 sign-on bonus is offered. This office is described as a perfect place for new graduates. Hours needed: Monday 7:45–5:00, Tuesday 7:45–5:00, Wednesday 6:45–4:00, Thursday 8:45–6:00.

Minimum Qualifications

• Current dental hygienist license in Ohio and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required).
• Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation.
• CPR Certification.

Preferred Experience

• New grads and experienced hygienists are encouraged to apply.
• Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital X-rays and electronic medical record systems.
• Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet patient needs and provide preventive care and overall maintenance of patients’ dental health.
• Clinical needs as required by the office.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/ Doctor/ Heartland Dental with or without reasonable accommodation. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties of the position.
• Prolonged periods of sitting and standing.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds.
• Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person) periodically throughout the year.
• A tuberculosis (TB) test is required for all new hires in dental office positions and must be completed prior to starting employment. The test will be arranged during the pre-employment process with guidance provided. Not applicable in the states of Florida and Tennessee.
