Job summary

Compass Health Network in Arnold, Missouri is seeking a Dental Hygienist to deliver preventive care and participate in community outreach initiatives. The role reports to Erika Berhorst and offers a retention bonus to support long-term service delivery.

Schedule is Monday–Thursday, 7:30am–6:00pm, with flexibility in days and hours. You will work in a nonprofit FQHC setting focused on equitable access to oral health and whole-person wellness.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in dental hygiene required.
• Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene preferred.
• Missouri Dental Hygiene licensure required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient-centered preventive dental care, screenings, and education
• Support oral health outreach in schools and community programs
• Collaborate closely with dentists and other healthcare team members to ensure high-quality treatment
• Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques, nutrition, and long-term oral health strategies
• Contribute to a safe, efficient clinic environment by maintaining infection control and equipment protocols
• Travel to other clinic locations as needed to support outreach and care delivery

Requirements, Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• Associate’s degree in dental hygiene required
• Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene preferred

Work Experience/Training/Additional Requirements:

• Demonstrates professional commitment to providing services to underserved persons
• Computer literate in electronic mail, word processing, and office management system software
• A valid driver\'s license and agency established minimum automobile coverage upon hire (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire) required

Licensure/Certification:

• Dental Hygienist in the state of Missouri required
