Job description

Position Overview

FowardDental Appleton is hiring a full-time dental hygienist. The role is based at 3030 N. Ballard Road, Appleton, Wisconsin 54911. The primary schedule is Monday through Thursday, 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM. There are no late nights or weekend shifts.

Schedule and Compensation

Bi‑weekly, hourly pay with the option to receive daily pay as earned. The advertised hourly rate is $15,0. Full‑time status (minimum 30 hrs) qualifies for a comprehensive benefits package.

Minimum Qualifications

• Current dental hygienist license in Wisconsin
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required)
• Excellent knowledge of dentistry, hygiene procedures, patient screening, and medical history documentation
• CPR certification

Preferred Experience

• Open to new graduates or seasoned hygienists
• Experience with Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanners, digital x‑rays, and electronic medical record systems
• Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills
• Ability to meet clinical needs as required by the office

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods of sitting and standing
• Ability to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
• Availability to attend virtual or in‑person training sessions periodically throughout the year

Additional Requirements

• All new hires in dental office positions must pass a tuberculosis (TB) test upon starting employment (not required in FL & TN).
