Metro Dentalcare Burnsville is growing! We are adding a Hygienist to the team. Schedule Tuesday through Friday at 14344 Burnhaven Dr., Burnsville, MN, next to Plant Fitness and opposite Burnsville Center Mall.

Recare visits take 60 minutes and New Patient appointments 90 minutes. Training and mentorship are provided. Heartland Dental is the nation's largest dental support organization, offering non-clinical support to more than 3,000 doctors across 39 states in 1,900+ offices.

Qualifications

• Current dental hygienist license in Minnesota and an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene
• Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
• CPR Certification

Minimum Qualifications

• Current dental hygienist license in Minnesotaand an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene
• Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
• CPR Certification

Preferred Experience

• Experienced and New Grads welcome to apply
• Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems
• Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health
• Clinical needs as required by office

Physical Requirements

• Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/ Doctor/ Heartland Dentalwith or without reasonable accommodation. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties of the position
• Prolonged periods sitting and standing
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
• Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person)periodically throughout the year

This is a standard requirement for dental office roles and must be completed prior to starting employment.
