Job summary

Twinsburg Dental Associates is looking for a friendly Dental Hygienist to join a patient‑centered team under Heartland Dental in Ohio. New graduates are welcome and a $7,500 welcome bonus is offered, with both full‑time and part‑time flexibility.

You will provide preventive care, educate patients on oral health, and collaborate with a trained staff using modern tools. The role offers strong mentorship and growth opportunities within a supported practice.

Qualifications

• Current dental hygienist license in Ohio and an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene (where required).
• Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation.
• CPR Certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide hygiene services in accordance with established protocols.
• Educate patients on oral health and preventive care.
• Collaborate with the Heartland Dental support network to deliver high-quality patient experiences.

Minimum Qualifications

• Current dental hygienist license in Ohio and an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene (where required)
• Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
• CPR Certification

Preferred Experience

• Experienced providers and new graduates are encouraged to apply
• Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems
• Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health
• Clinical needs as required by office

Physical Requirements

• Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/ Doctor/ Heartland Dental with or without reasonable accommodation. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties of the position
• Prolonged periods sitting and standing
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
• Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person) periodically throughout the year
• As part of our commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy environment for both team members and patients, a tuberculosis (TB) test is required for all new hires in dental office positions. This is a standard requirement for dental office roles and must be completed prior to starting employment. The test will be arranged during the pre-employment process, and any necessary guidance or paperwork will be provided. Not applicable in the state of FL & TN.
