Job summary

The University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine Dental Hygiene Program invites applications for a full-time faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor or Instructor in the appointment stream (non-tenure track). The primary site will be the Regional Training Center in Titusville, PA, with salary commensurate with education and experience.

A master’s degree in dental hygiene or related discipline and a minimum of two years of successful teaching experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in dental hygiene or related discipline preferred.
• Minimum of two years of successful teaching experience in didactic, clinical, and laboratory dental hygiene courses preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach clinical, laboratory, and didactic courses for the Dental Hygiene Bachelor’s Degree Hybrid Track in Titusville, PA.
• Participate in committees and assist with CODA site visit preparation, student advising, and scholarly activities.
• Engage in research and professional service; participate in professional organizations and community service.
• Provide clinic oversight and leadership to ensure appropriate patient care in the clinic.
