Job summary

North American Dental Group is seeking a Hygiene Assistant for the Corner Dental - Sylvania, OH location. The role supports the hygienist and dentist, prepares treatment rooms, and assists with patient care in a full-time capacity.

You will collaborate with the team to maintain high standards of efficiency and patient experience, while upholding professional communication and documentation practices.

Qualifications

• Dental Assisting Certification or prior on-the-job training.
• 1–5 years of experience preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply.
• Radiography/X-Ray certification (state-specific).
• Current CPR certification.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
• Commitment to delivering exceptional service and patient education.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance to the dental hygienist to prepare the room, seat patients, and document visits.
• Record and review patients' health history; chart entries under direction; ensure forms and signatures are completed.
• Educate patients on their treatment plans and maintain their oral health.
• Work in a fast-paced environment with excellent interpersonal skills and teamwork.
• Communicate professionally both orally and in writing with a service-oriented approach.
