Job summary

North American Dental Group’s Family Gentle Dentists in Woodhaven, MI is seeking a Hygiene Assistant to support the hygienist and dentist, prep treatment rooms, manage patient records, and educate patients on oral health.

This full-time position offers a consistent schedule and opportunities to grow within a reputable dental group. CPR and radiography certifications, along with MS Office proficiency, are preferred. New graduates are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Must have dental assisting certification and radiography/X-ray certification.
• CPR certification required.
• Proficiency in MS Office and patient education.
• 1–5 years experience preferred, new graduates welcome.

Responsibilities

• Prepare rooms and seat patients, assist hygienist/dentist in procedures.
• Record health history, chart entries, and complete required forms with doctor/hygienist guidance.
• Educate patients on treatment plans and oral health.
• Maintain professional relationships with team and patients in a fast-paced environment.
• Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with a service-oriented approach.
