PrimeCare Benefits Group at Durango Health Center in Las Vegas, NV is seeking a compassionate Dental Hygiene Assistant to support the hygienist, prepare treatment rooms, and maintain infection control. You will assist with radiographs and patient comfort, and help with chart documentation and patient education.

Qualifications

• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Experience assisting a dental hygienist preferred.
• Knowledge of dental terminology, infection control, and radiography.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dental hygienist during patient treatment and preventive procedures.
• Prepare treatment rooms and ensure they are fully stocked and sanitized.
• Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control standards.
• Take digital radiographs in accordance with Nevada regulations.
• Prepare patients for treatment and ensure their comfort throughout the visit.
• Enter clinical notes and assist with chart documentation as directed.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment instructions.
• Maintain supplies and equipment in accordance with office protocols.
• Provide outstanding customer service while creating a welcoming environment for every patient.
• Support the dental team with additional clinical and administrative duties as assigned.
