Job summary

NaphCare is hiring a part-time Dental Assistant for the Wyoming Women's Center in Lusk, WY. Pay rates range from $20.90 - $22.00 per hour based on shift, FT/PRN status, site needs, and experience. Shifts vary and will be discussed in the interview.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Unrestricted Dental Assistant certification with 1 year dental experience preferred.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate dental services and assist Dentist with patient care, instruments, supplies, documentation and support the function of the dental department
• Assist in documentation and maintenance of all patient dental records
• Assist in triaging and scheduling of all dental sick call requests
• Prepare clinic with appropriate instruments and materials for scheduled visits
• Assist Dentist during treatment by providing instruments, materials, retraction or suction
• Mix and fabricate all restorative materials
• Ensure all dental equipment properly maintained and functioning
• Sterilize and disinfect equipment and tools
• Develop all routine radiographs

Pay rates vary based on shift, site needs, and experience. Shifts and hours vary based on coverage needs and can be discussed upon interview. PRN shifts and hours vary based on coverage needs for FT shifts and will be determined by site leadership and prn employee availability. Pay rates range from $20.90 - $22.00 per hour based on Shift, FT, PRN, temporary contract, site needs, and experience.
