Job summary

Dentrust Optimized Care Solutions is seeking a motivated Dental Assistant to support military service members in mobile clinics. You will perform exams, treatments, and X-rays with a focus on deployment readiness and compassionate care.

Expect weekend availability, 4‑hand dentistry, digital imaging, and efficient chair-side assistance. A CDA/RDA/EDDA/EFDA plus radiology and CPR/BLS certification are required, with base-entry eligibility and background checks as part of the process.

Qualifications

• Active dental assistant credentials required (CDA/RDA/EDDA/EFDA).
• Radiology certification and CPR/BLS certification required.
• Experience with 4-handed dentistry and digital imaging preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide dental care in mobile exam rooms to prepare service members for deployment.
• Capture digital X-rays (BW and PANO) and ensure sterilization of instruments.
• Perform chair-side assistance and handle basic administrative duties.

Your Role

• Deliver dental care in mobile exam rooms and operatories, ensuring military members are deployment-ready.
• Capture digital X-rays (BW & PANO) and handle instrument sterilization.
• Perform chair-side assistance and basic administrative duties as needed.

Requirements

• Credentials: Active Dental Assistant certification (CDA, RDA, EDDA, EFDA) and Radiology Certification in Alaska, CPR/BLS certification.
• Skills & Experience: Skilled in 4-handed dentistry, proficient with digital tools, with a preference for those with prior military experience.
• Access to Military Bases: Eligibility for base entry is required; a background check, criminal record check, and drug screening will be conducted.
• Availability: Weekends when you are available!

Compensation

• Hourly Rate
• Mileage Reimbursement (25 Miles from Home Address, GSA rate)
• Per Diem for each day worked
• Flights, Hotel, Rental Cars are all provided based on parameters set by the compay
