Granby Dental is seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team and provide compassionate patient care. Responsibilities include preparing treatment rooms, taking X‑rays, and supporting both clinical and administrative duties to ensure smooth daily operations.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year of experience or a formal certification, current X‑ray certification, and strong communication skills to support a positive patient experience and collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of hands-on Dental Assistant experience or Dental Assistant certification.
• Current X-ray certification is required.
• Strong understanding of dental assisting procedures and terminology.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Professional, dependable, and detail-oriented.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentists during examinations, procedures, and treatments.
• Prepare treatment rooms and dental instruments.
• Take and develop dental X-rays.
• Maintain infection control and sterilization procedures.
• Prepare patients for treatment and provide post-treatment instructions.
• Assist with impressions, materials, and laboratory procedures as needed.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Ensure treatment rooms and equipment are clean, organized and stocked.
• Provide friendly and professional patient service.
• Support the dental team with day-to-day clinical and administrative duties.
