Oconer Family and Cosmetic Dentistry in Flemington, NJ is seeking a full-time Dental Assistant with experience to support chair-side procedures, take patient X-rays, sterilize instruments, perform intra-oral scans, set up rooms, and educate patients. Qualifications

• Prior dental assisting experience preferred; recent graduates welcome to apply.
• NJ dental X-ray license required or willingness to obtain.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist chairside during a variety of dental procedures including restorative, cosmetic, and preventive treatments
• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and treatment rooms between patients
• Take and develop dental X-rays (radiographs)
• Greet patients, review medical histories, and ensure a comfortable patient experience
• Record treatment information and update patient charts accurately
• Educate patients on post-treatment care and proper oral hygiene practices
• Manage dental supply inventory and assist with ordering materials as needed
