Job summary

Monarch Dental, supported by Smile Brands, seeks a Traveling Orthodontic Dental Assistant to join our Cedar Hill team. You will travel between Monarch locations, supporting orthodontic and general dentistry procedures and ensuring clean, safe, and patient-friendly environments.

The role requires travel, strong communication, and the ability to work independently across multiple practices. Certification in Texas and orthodontic experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous orthodontic dental assisting experience preferred.
• Experience in general dentistry is highly preferred.
• Dental Assistant certification/registration as required by the state of Texas.
• Experience working with orthodontic patients and treatment procedures.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to travel between multiple dental practice locations.
• Reliable, adaptable, and able to work independently.
• Commitment to providing excellent patient care.

Responsibilities

• Travel between assigned Monarch Dental locations to provide orthodontic dental assisting support.
• Assist orthodontists and dental teams with patient care and clinical procedures.
• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and equipment for orthodontic procedures.
• Assist with orthodontic procedures, including bracket placement, adjustments, impressions/scans, and other clinical duties as appropriate.
• Take and prepare dental records and radiographs as directed.
• Provide patients with clear instructions regarding orthodontic treatment and post-treatment care.
• Support general dentistry procedures and assist the dental team when needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe clinical environment.
• Follow all infection control, safety, and practice protocols.
• Deliver an exceptional patient experience at every location.

Traveling Orthodontic Dental Assistant

Monarch Dental - Cedar Hill, TX

Monarch Dental, supported by Smile Brands, is looking for an experienced Traveling Orthodontic Dental Assistant to join our team in the Cedar Hill, TX area. This position is ideal for a dental professional who enjoys variety, is comfortable traveling between dental practices, and has experience in both orthodontics and general dentistry.

Responsibilities

• Travel between assigned Monarch Dental locations to provide orthodontic dental assisting support
