Job summary

Provident Behavioral Health in San Antonio is seeking a Dental Assistant to support dentists during procedures and ensure patient comfort. No prior experience is required; training is provided to get you ready for the role.

You will assist with room setup and cleaning, take X-rays with training, manage patient records, and help at the front desk with check-in and scheduling while sharing post-treatment care instructions and following OSHA/HIPAA guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills required.
• Background check, valid driver’s license, and U.S. work authorization required.
• Dental assisting certification and bilingual skills (Spanish/English) preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentists during procedures.
• Prepare and clean treatment rooms.
• Take X-rays (training available).
• Record patient information and maintain a clean workspace.
• Support front-desk tasks such as check-in and scheduling.
