Job summary

Pacific Dental Services, LLC is seeking a Dental Assistant in Cottonwood, AZ to learn and perform basic dental assisting functions under the direct supervision of a licensed dentist. You will participate in the Perfect Patient Experience, maintain infection control, and assist with radiographs and patient care preparation.

No prior dental experience is required, and customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Learn and perform basic dental assisting functions under the direct supervision of the licensed dentist.
• Actively participate in the Perfect Patient Experience by focusing on optimal treatment while addressing patient needs.
• Learn infection control procedures for sterilization and operatory cleaning to ensure safety.
• Complete radiographs and intra-oral pictures after radiation safety requirements.
• Prepare for patient care procedures and provide chairside support while handing off to front desk for follow-up.
• Instruct patients on postoperative and general oral health care as directed by the dentist.
• Record patient charting and treatment notes in the digital chart as directed.
• Support patient care by presenting treatment records, consents and health history to the dentist.
• Maintain compliance with State, Federal, and other regulations (OSHA, HIPAA, ADA, etc.).
