Dentists of Tucson is seeking an entry-level dental assistant to join our team and support patient care under the supervision of licensed dentists.

You will learn basic dental assisting functions, patient communication, infection control, and charting while contributing to a positive patient experience in a busy practice in Tucson, Arizona. This role offers learning opportunities, CE units, and a collaborative team environment.

Qualifikationen

• No prior dental experience is required.
• Customer services experience is preferred.

Aufgaben

• Learn and perform basic dental assisting functions under supervision of the licensed dentist.
• Assist in achieving a perfect patient experience by addressing patient needs and concerns.
• Learn infection control procedures for sterilization and operatory cleaning to ensure safety.
• Complete radiographs and intra-oral pictures after radiation safety requirements are met.
• Prepare for patient care procedures and provide basic chairside support.
• Instruct patients on postoperative and general oral health care as directed by the dentist.
• Record patient charting and treatment notes in the digital chart as directed.
• Present treatment records, consents and health history to the dentist before treatment.
• Maintain compliance with State, Federal, and other regulations (OSHA, HIPAA, ADA, etc.).
