Job summary

Orangetree Dental Care in Naples, FL is seeking a full-time Dental Assistant for a busy general dentistry practice. We offer a $3,000 sign-on bonus and a schedule of Monday–Friday 7:30 am to 5:15 pm.

Learning opportunities are available; previous experience is welcome but new graduates may thrive in our fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Dentrix and iTero 3D scanner are used to support patient care.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
• Experience in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment.
• Dental assistant certification and/or x-ray certification as required by state law.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• HIPAA training and PHI protection responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients and educate throughout treatment.
• Review patient health history for quality care.
• Take and process x-rays and diagnostic assessments (iTero 3D scanner, etc.).
• Provide chairside assistance to dentists across procedures.
• Use Dentrix for scheduling and records.
• Prepare treatment room with safety protocols per OSHA & CDC.
• Manage supplies and place orders to support workflow.
• Collaborate with providers to implement Heartland Dental systems.
