SGS Consulting in Atlanta is seeking a Dental Hygiene Assistant to join our care team. You will prepare treatment rooms, assist hygienists, update patient histories, and educate patients on oral hygiene. Exposure of radiographs possible if certified; you will help schedule patients and manage recall systems.

Strong communication, attention to detail, and compliance with HIPAA and OSHA are essential. A high school diploma or GED and an Associate degree or certificate in Dental Assisting are

Responsabilités

• Prepare and set up treatment rooms, ensuring cleanliness and proper sterilization.
• Assist Dental Hygienists during patient treatment progress.
• Update patient health history and chart treatment progress.
• Expose and develop radiographs (if certified).
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and preventive care.
• Coordinate with clinical staff to manage inventory and sterilization of dental instruments.
• Support the hygienist with patient scheduling and treatment recommendations and office recall systems.
• Perform routine tasks while ensuring compliance with the industry regulations including HIPAA & OSHA.
