Job summary

North American Dental is seeking a Dental Assistant to join our team in Alabama. You will provide chair-side support, assist the dentist, prepare instruments and patients for procedures, and ensure radiographs are correctly exposed and developed.

The role requires CPR certification, radiography credentials, and a commitment to OSHA/HIPAA standards. We offer a full-time, Monday–Friday schedule with a competitive pay range based on experience.

Qualifications

• Certification in dental assisting or equivalent experience.
• 1–5 years of experience preferred.
• Radiography/X-ray certification for the state.
• CPR certification required.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite.
• Commitment to patient education and service.
• Ability to support efficient dental operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent chair-side clinical support to Doctors and Hygienists.
• Prepare patients for treatment and assist the dentist during procedures.
• Prepare trays, sterilize instruments, and maintain asepsis.
• Expose and develop dental radiographs.
• Follow OSHA and HIPAA guidelines.
