Job summary

Cohen & Cohen Dental Group is seeking a friendly Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have empathy, patience, quick thinking and a desire to help others while supporting the dentist during procedures.

Responsibilities include preparing exam rooms, taking X-rays, maintaining records and guiding patients on oral hygiene. A 28–30 USD hourly wage, paid holidays, 401k with match, and health benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of Dental Assisting experience preferred
• Outstanding professionalism, high moral standards, and a self-motivated work ethic
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build trusting relationships with coworkers and patients
• Driven personality to strive to be the best in the profession and provide the best care for patients

Responsibilities

• Preparing exam rooms, sterilizing instruments, and ensuring equipment is ready for dentists
• Taking and processing X-rays of patients
• Maintaining accurate patient records and assisting with payment procedures
• Greeting patients and scheduling appointments
• Advising patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care
• Handling general administrative duties to maintain the dental practice
