Aspen Dental is seeking a Dental Assistant in Macon, GA. This full-time role offers hourly pay and comprehensive benefits. You will assist with procedures, capture X-rays, and ensure smooth operatory setup and breakdown, while maintaining infection control and patient education.

Formación

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.
• Ability to collaborate with dental team to provide patient care.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Active license, registration, or permit as required by state; including x-ray certification if required.

Responsabilidades

• Assist during a variety of treatment procedures.
• Take dental x-rays.
• Set up and breakdown operatory post treatment.
• Execute patient handoffs and monitor patient flow within the practice.
• Manage infection control - prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment.
• Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain good oral health.
• Complete denture relines and temporary crowns.
• Perform quality impressions and bite registrations.
• Perform digital intraoral scans.
• Support patient charting for doctors.
• Collaborate with practice team to ensure optimum patient satisfaction.
