Job summary

Smile Brands is hiring aDental Assistant in New York who will support dentists and specialists, preparing rooms, assisting during procedures and educating patients. You’ll ensure infection control and compassionate guidance on oral care, while maintaining a welcoming clinical environment and collaborating with the team.

State credentialing requirements and CPR/BLS certification are required or obtainable before start.

Qualifications

• Credentialing aligns with state requirements for the duties listed.
• CPR/BLS certification required or obtainable before start date.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients, treatment rooms, instruments and equipment for procedures.
• Assist dentists and specialists during examinations and procedures.
• Take and prepare dental X-rays and other records as permitted by state regulations.
• Provide patients with clear guidance on oral hygiene and post‑treatment care.
• Maintain infection control, sterilization and safety standards.
• Prepare and maintain dental instruments and supplies.
• Support an organized clinical environment and welcoming experience for patients.
• Collaborate with the dental team to deliver exceptional care.
