Great Plains Tribal Health seeks a Dental Assistant to support Oyáte Health Center patients by assisting dental providers, preparing instruments and materials, and helping with radiographs and post‑operative care.

The role includes patient history, chart preparation, and patient education on oral hygiene, with emphasis on safety, HIPAA compliance, and timely service in a clinical setting.

Formación

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of radiation safety course and current BLS certification.
• Dental Assistant certificate preferred; on‑the‑job training possible for non‑experienced candidates.

Responsabilidades

• Assist dentist during procedures and manage instrument exchange.
• Prepare patient charts and records treatment information.
• Instruct patients on oral hygiene and homecare.
• Expose dental diagnostic radiographs and assist with emergencies.
• Maintain infection control and HIPAA compliance.
