Job summary

Salt Dental Partners is seeking a dental assistant to join a team dedicated to excellent patient care and teamwork. You will support patients before, during, and after visits and assist with radiographs, impressions, and intraoral photos.

The role emphasizes room preparation, documentation, and maintaining a clean, patient-centered environment while using charting and scheduling software. A state license and CPR/BLS are required or preferred depending on qualifications.

Qualifications

• Active license/registration to practice as a dental assistant, as required by your state.
• 6+ months of experience as a dental assistant.
• CPR or BLS certification.
• Completion of a CODA accredited dental assisting program (preferred).
• Quick learner with strong problem solving skills.
• Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
• Comfortable with software used for charting, records, and scheduling.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Organized with strong knowledge of dentistry and dental terminology.

Responsibilities

• Greet and support patients before, during, and after their appointment.
• Take and process dental radiographs, impressions, and intraoral photos.
• Prepare and sterilize the treatment room and equipment.
• Document dental care services by charting patient records.
• Maintain a clean, sterile, patient centered working environment.
