Qualifications

• Must have completed an CODA-accredited dental assistant program.
• Certification in radiologic procedures per 42 CFR Part 75 or equivalent per state/DoD.
• Proficiency in English (spoken and written).
• Knowledge of infection control and safe instrument handling.

Responsibilities

• Chairside assisting for planned dental procedures and preparing the operatory.
• Passes instruments safely, accurately and efficiently.
• Take and process dental radiographs of diagnostic quality.
• Maintain infection control protocols and sterilization standards.
• Assist in scheduling and patient flow to minimize delays.
