Enable Dental, Inc. is hiring a Dental Assistant in Bakersfield, CA to support our mobile dentistry program delivering care to seniors in assisted living facilities.

The role includes chairside assistance, digital radiography, patient education and setting up portable equipment, with a weekday daytime schedule and no nights or weekends. Candidates must hold active DA/CDA/EFDA/EDDA and RHS X-ray certification, a valid driver’s license, and willingness to drive a company minivan.

Qualifications

• Active state dental assistant certification (DA, CDA, EFDA, or EDDA) required.
• X-Ray/RHS certification required.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record; comfortable driving company minivan.

Responsibilities

• Chairside assisting alongside dentists and hygienists during general dentistry procedures.
• Take high-quality digital radiographs using portable equipment.
• Educate patients and families on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.

Pay Range: $27-31/hr | Schedule: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday - 20- 25 hours per week

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Chairside Assisting: Work side-by-side with Dentists and Hygienists during general dentistry procedures.
• Digital Radiography: Take high-quality X-rays using digital imaging technology.
• Patient Care & Education: Ensure patient comfort and educate families on hygiene and post-treatment care.
• Mobile Equipment Setup: Transport and prepare state-of-the-art portable dental equipment and supplies.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Active State Dental Assistant Certification (DA, CDA, EFDA, or EDDA)
• X-Ray / Radiology Certification (RHS)
• Valid Driver's License, clean driving record, and comfort driving a company minivan (age 25+)
• Ability to safely lift and transport portable dental equipment (up to 40-50 lbs)
• Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate approach to geriatric and special needs patient care
