Job summary

Aspen Dental is hiring an Oral Surgeon Dental Assistant in Traverse City, MI. The position pays $27/hour and requires travel to nearby offices to support patient care. Full-time role with flexible scheduling and opportunities for growth.

You will assist during procedures, take dental X-rays, maintain operatory setup, and ensure infection control, educating patients on oral hygiene, while collaborating with the dental team to deliver excellent care.

Qualifications

• Active license/permit as required by state; includes X-ray certification.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients of all ages.
• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Travel to nearby offices to support patient care
• Assist during a variety of treatment procedures
• Take dental X-rays
• Set up and breakdown operatory post treatment
• Manage infection control – prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
• Educate patients on oral hygiene strategies
• Perform various office tasks as necessary
• Work collaboratively with the dental team to provide exceptional patient care
