Job summary

Aspen Dental in Manitowoc, Wisconsin is looking for an Oral Surgeon Dental Assistant. You will support the clinical needs of the practice and doctors, travel to nearby offices to assist patient care, take dental X-rays, and help set up and break down the operatory after treatments.

You will also manage infection control, educate patients on oral hygiene, and assist with office tasks as needed. A competitive schedule and opportunities for growth are available.

Qualifications

• Active license/registration or permit as required by state (including x-ray certification).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients of all ages.
• Willingness to participate in ongoing learning and professional development.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assist during a variety of dental procedures.
• Take dental X-rays and set up/breakdown operatory post-treatment.
• Maintain infection control – sterilize instruments and equipment.
• Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain good oral health.
• Travel daily to assigned Aspen Dental offices.
