Leading Edge Oral Surgery (Huntington) is seeking a dental assistant with prior surgical exposure to join a modern, patient‑centered practice. You will welcome patients, assist the surgeon, and perform radiographs and scans while maintaining strict infection control.

Responsibilities

• Support the Oral Surgeon with procedures.
• Take digital radiographs, CBCT and intra-oral scans as prescribed.
• Maintain infection control by sterilizing instruments and equipment.
• Prepare operatories for treatments and sanitize as needed.
• Adhere to OSHA and safety policies for a secure environment.
• Educate patients on effective oral hygiene.
• Handle diverse office tasks to support operations.

Dental assisting is about crafting confident smiles, building your skills and delivering compassionate care for our patients. This position will require prior dental assistant experience with exposure to surgical procedures. Previous oral surgery experience is required.

HIRING SCHEDULE:

Monday: 8:45am-5:00pm

Tuesday: 8:45am-5:00pm

Thursday: 8:45am-5:00pm

Friday: 8:45am-5:00pm

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Welcoming patients with a smile, making them feel comfortable and confident throughout their visit.
• Support the Oral Surgeon with various procedures.
• Taking digital radiographs, CBCT and intra-oral scans as prescribed
• Ensure strict infection control by meticulously preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment.
• Sanitizing and prepping operatories for respective treatments.
• Adhere to OSHA and safety policies, prioritizing a secure and healthy environment.
• Educate patients on effective oral hygiene strategies as needed
• Undertake diverse office tasks as needed for seamless practice operations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Any certification/license as required by the state to perform specified duties.
• A resume showcasing a consistent and stable employment history.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills, delivering exceptional patient experiences.
