Job summary

The Smilist Dental in Sewell, NJ is seeking a reliable Dental Assistant to join our team. You will prepare patients for treatment, assist doctors during procedures, and ensure a clean, welcoming environment.

Candidates should have an active NJ x-ray license, experience as a Dental Assistant, knowledge of instruments and procedures, and strong communication. We offer competitive pay, health/dental/vision insurance, growth opportunities, and a meaningful impact on patient health.

Qualifications

Experience as a Dental Assistant is required.
Active NJ x-ray license is required.
Knowledge of dental instruments, equipment, and procedures.
Dentrix experience preferred but not required.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Detail-oriented with a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

Keep patients focused on treatment while addressing concerns and promoting the doctor’s strengths.
Maintain a clean, sterile, and cheerful operatory; prepare patients for treatment and assist the doctors.
Escort patients to and from the front desk.
Prepare tray setups for dental procedures and maintain supply levels in each operatory; order and replenish as needed.
Other duties as assigned by management.
