Naples Center for Cosmetic Dentistry in Naples, FL, is seeking a Dental Assistant to join our clinical team and provide high-level patient care in a team-based environment.

Qualified applicants should have a one-year certified dental assistant program or six months of on-the-job experience, plus X-Ray certification; Nitrous Oxide certification is highly recommended. We offer flexible scheduling and comprehensive benefits in a modern office.

Qualifications

• Completion of a one-year certified dental assistant program.
• Six months on-the-job experience may be acceptable with supporting documentation.
• X-Ray certification is required; Nitrous Oxide certification is highly recommended.

Responsibilities

• Clinical Support: Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and assist dentists during procedures.
• Patient Care: Welcome, comfort, and educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
• Radiography & Diagnostics: Take and develop X-rays, assist with impressions, and maintain study models.
• Compliance & Safety: Ensure infection control protocols, maintain patient confidentiality, and follow workplace regulations.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, including scheduling and patient intake.
• Assist dentist in managing dental and medical emergencies by maintaining CPR certification and emergency supplies.

Education

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Completion of a one-year certified dental assistant program

or

• Six months on-the-job-experience (with supporting documentation)
• X-Ray certification
• Nitrous Oxide certification is highly recommended
• High school diploma or equivalent

Dental Assistant are also expected to maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA, CPR, and infection control training as required by law.
