Job summary

Oregon Health & Science University's School of Dentistry is seeking a Dental Assistant to support multiple departments within the DMD Clinic. The role requires a training program or equivalent experience, radiological proficiency, BLS, and consistent work in dentistry within the last five years.

Position is Regular Full-Time with a Monday–Friday schedule and 8:00am–5:00pm hours. Salary ranges from $26.16 to $35.38 per hour, commensurate with experience.

Qualifications

• Completion of an approved Dental Assistant training program.
• One year of experience as a chair side Dental Assistant.
• Certification by the Oregon State Board of Dentistry for Radiological Proficiency required for all positions.
• BLS from AHA required. New hires will be enrolled in an OHSU training course and will be required to complete the course during the onboarding process.
• Must have worked as a dental assistant within the last 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Supports multiple departments within the School of Dentistry based upon clinical needs.
• Requires flexibility and willingness to adapt to new situations and processes for each department being supported each shift.
